Brief description of the project

The project mainly targeted young people with from conflict zones, especially Syria, as well as from Javakhk, who have a university degree, but need essential specialization to become more competitive in the Armenian labor market. Skills development trainings have been held within the framework of the project. The participants have been given an opportunity to meet the HR specialists of the partner companies, who introduced vacancies of their companies to them. Suitable offer packages, as well as personal consultations, has been presented to the target group during the whole process.

Cooperation within the framework of the project

The project was implemented in the framework of cooperation between YSU Alumni and Career Center and "World Vision Armenia" international relief and development organization.

The project was fully funded by the US State Department Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.

Project outcomes

62 participants took part in the project, 35 of whom have received job, internship or volunteer work offers.
