Archeology and Ethnography Institute
Archeology and Ethnography Institute was founded in 1959 at the Institute of History and Archaeology Department of the ethnic group. In 1961, the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography Institute of Literature at flit folklore section, anthropological laboratory established in 1973.

Research work carried out by Armenia in the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography includes the Armenian folklore, anthropology and ethnosociology areas. The Institute's activities occupy an important place in archaeological excavations, through ethnographic expeditions, collecting works of folklore and other materials, as well as neighboring countries. Studies published in the scientific reports, monographs and articles forms.

It cooperates with Faculty of History.
