The National Botanical Institute
The National Botanical Institute was founded in 1938. Dealing with the plant world, flora, plants evolution studies. Forest keeping, commercially valuable plants, as well as plant anatomy, physiology, ecology, poshehatikabanutyan, the study of fossil plants. Composed of plant taxonomy and geography is superior, forestry, raw material and plant ecology, tree studies and floriculture, "Armenia flora" sections of plant physiology laboratory and botanical garden, lake and Vanadzor departments.

The RA National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Botany collaborates with the YSU Faculty of Biology.
