"Republic of Armenia" is a daily newspaper, which was established by the RA Supreme Council's decision after September 6, 1990. Originally published in Armenian and Russian, as the official Supreme Council. The first issue was published on October 9, 1990. Aydin was the first editor Morikyan. Later, in November 1992 "Respublika Armenia" started to see the light and separated from the Russian version as a separate sheet. The "Republic of Armenia" has the Supreme Council and then to the National Assembly, the official continued to be published until the end of 2000.
In 2001 the Government's decision on February 9, the "Republic" CJSC, which is published today is the "Republic of Armenia" newspaper. In this status, the newspaper began to be published on April 9, 2001. The newspaper has a correspondent in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
