RA Ministry of Diaspora Staff
On October 1, 2008 the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia launched its activities under Minister Hranush Hakobyan who was appointed by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia. The objective of the Ministry is to completely and effectively develop, implement and continuously improve the state policy on development of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership and coordinate the activities of the state bodies.
The main objective of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership is to protect the fundamental rights, liberties and legal interests of Armenians in the historical Homeland or abroad, including Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora within the framework of international law and to defend the qualities of Armenian national identity, that is, preservation of Armenian identity.

It cooperates with the YSU Faculty of Law , Faculty of Journalism , Faculty of Oriental Studies , Faculty of International Relations և Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology և Faculty of Russian Philology.
