"SOS Children's Villages" is an independent, non-governmental social development organization that was founded in 1949, Austria. Today the charity operates in around 136 countries worldwide. "The charity SOS Children's Villages" fund was established in 1989 to help children left without parents in the earthquake. It was the first of the former Soviet Union.
Currently, the "SOS Children's Villages" ACF activities include child care, family strengthening and community services, as well as a wide range of educational programs at the same time engaged in the improvement of the child protection system, through the implementation of national programs for the protection of interests.
"SOS Children's Villages" ACF cooeprates with the YSU Faculties of
Philosophy and Psychology and
Sociology.
