Established in 1919 YSU is the first and the most respected higher education establishment in modern Armenia, her Alma Mater, the leading center in the spheres of sciences and culture.
September 1999 – present: Associate Professor
  • Instructor of Turkish History, Country Studies, Turkish Language, Mentor of Master and PhD theses,
  • Led student professional development studies in Istanbul,
  • Organized panel discussions for cooperation of Turkish and Armenian universities,
  • Initiated an Armenian-Turkmenistani Conference on promotion of cooperation in the sciences sphere; acting coordinator of Armenian-Turkmenistani relations in education sphere.

    A leading history and culture tour operator in Armenia.
    September 2015 - present: Founder - Director
    Launched heritage tour operator company offering tours (mostly between Armenia and Turkey) to learn more about history and culture. Created a business and professional network of partners and customers in-home and abroad.

    A leading tour operator in Armenia.
    February 2008 - December 2014: Founder
    Created a travel business to generate thousands of tourists travelling in the Caucasus and Anatolia. Established and advanced cooperation with business partners and customers in-home and abroad.

    February - December 2007: Political Observer of “Horizon” Analytical Program
  • Conducted research and presented live, within a daily interview format issues with regards to political issues in Turkey and Armenian-Turkish relations.

    Turkish-Armenian business development council (TABDC)
    Co-established in May 1997 TABDC is the first and only official link between the public and private sectors in Armenia and Turkey that promotes communication and cooperation between the two countries.

  • Organized and led Armenian Ministry of Culture delegation on an official visit to Van, Turkey on the occasion of renovation and reopening as a museum of Sourb Khach (Holy Cross) Cathedral on Akhtamar island,
  • Under a project of University of Washington organized meetings and panels for women Members of Parliament of Armenia and Turkey,
  • Arranged business meetings and discussions in Armenia and Turkey of more than 50 businessmen from each side,
  • Organized visits and performances of Armenian and Turkish music and dance groups in Armenia and Turkey,
  • Arranged the participation of Yerevan State Conservatory Folk Music Band in the Second Congress and International Music Festival in Kars.

  • Wrote and published numerous analytical reviews and articles on political issued in Turkey and developments in Armenian-Turkish relations,
  • Interviewed and worked with well-known Turkish columnists, such as Mehmet Ali Birand (CNN Turk), Semih Idiz (Milliyet), Leyla Tavsanoglu (Cumhuriyet), Amberin Zaman (The Economist).

    Participation
    Multiple conferences on: Turkish-Armenian-Azeri relations in Istanbul, Baku, Ankara; Turkic Cultural and Linguistic studies in Ashgabat; Turkish-Armenian border opening in Kars.

    Languages
    Fluent Turkish, Russian and Armenian; basic German and English.
