Faculty of Radiophysics
The Faculty was established in June 1975 by decision of Armenian Government (USSR era) aiming to meet growing demand in radiophysicist in military, industrial, high technology and R&D sectors of the plan - economy.:

1973 - 1975: Laboratory Assistant and Junior Scientific worker of Physics, Department at Yerevan State University, Armenia
1979 - 1993: Senior Research Scientist, Theacher, Senior Theacher at Yerevan State University in Armenia
1991: Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics at the Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics of the Armenian Academy of Sciences, Ashtarak, Armenia
Thesis “Generation of ultrashort pulses of millimeter and centimeter ranges in the waveguide partially filled with a nonlinear crystal”
1994 - up to now: Associate Professor in Radiophysics Department at Yerevan State University, Armenia
1996 - 2011: Leader of THz Radiation project in Radiophysics Department at Yerevan State University, Armenia.
2007 - 2012: Leader project of collaboration between the department of Microwave and Telecommunication faculty of Radiophysics of Yerevan State University, Armenia and Institute of Space Systems, University of Stuttgart, Germany

2001 - 2004: Several Research stays at Leeds University in Leeds and National Physics Laboratory in London (NPL) / UK by several Grants: NATO Grant, British Royal Society Grants, Invitation of Great Britain Ministry of Trade and Industry.
2008 - 2011: Institute of Space Systems in Stuttgart, Germany.

1973 - up to now: Yerevan State University in the fields of Microwaves, Electronics and Solid State Physics, Electromagnetic Physics, Nonlinear Optics, THz spectroscopy, THz imaging.
