An event dedicated to Women’s Day was held today in the Cultural Centre of YSU.
The students of drama studio “Universitarians” of YSU Cultural Centre performed on the state of Ijevan branch. The performance was called “Armenian sketches” based on the same-name work by Vardges Petrosyan. The scenario authors are the director of YSU Cultural Centre Karine Davtyan and Ani Mikaelyan, stage director-Karine Davtyan, costume design was made by the director of “Teryan” cultural centre Lilit Melikyan.
The annual inter-university festival-contest of French songs was held at Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University on March 28.
“A DROP OF HONEY” AND “THE DOG AND THE CAT”: WATCHING AND DISCUSSION OF THE FILMS IN YSU CULTURAL CENTRE
The watching and discussion of the film “A drop of honey” and the cartoon “The dog and the cat” based on Hovhannes Tumanyan’s same-name features were organized today in YSU Cultural Centre.
The Student Council of YSU Faculty of Russian Philology organized the Russian National “Maslennitsa” feast which announces the end of winter and beginning of spring.
The lecture “Glimpse of Talysh ethnographic music in Iran” was delivered at the Chair of Iranian Studies of YSU was delivered by the Talysh musician, ethnographer, intellectual, leader of “Qadus” music ensemble Armin Faridi.
Today, within the frames of “Cultural upbringing” program YSU Cultural Centre organized a lecture entitled “Tumanyan’s patriotic mission highlighted in modern philosophy”, which was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Greatest Armenian Poet Hovhannes Tumanyan.
This year Saint Sargis is marked on February 16.
Various youth movements appeared after the two world wars which seemed to be endless.
Pre-festive mood was reigning today in the Paleans hall of YSU.
