"EVEN YOUR DEATH SHOULD SERVE FOR THE MOTHERLAND"
The event, devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Artsakh Liberation War, held at YSU Cultural Centre, started with this phrase by Garegin Nzhdeh.
Singing, poetry and dancing sketched the portraits of our heroes - Ashot Manukyan, Dushman Vardan, Ashot Navasardyan, Vazgen Sargsyan, Ashot Bekor, Monte Melkonyan, Samvel Gevorgyan, etc.

And the main performance was headed Heroic Ballad. Mrs. Greta, mother of Vazgen Sargsyan, said these guys are all our heroes, and we should always remember their deeds.

The idea of this event belongs to the freshman of YSU Faculty of History Elen Tulumjyan, and we decided that it should be dramatized, spiced with documentary materials, as well as singing, dancing, poetry. It seems to me that it is impossible to separate art and culture from the army, as they all preserve our identity, - said the Director of YSU Cultural Centre Karine Davtyan.

The event, organized by the Faculty of History and Cultural Centre, was attended by family members of the heroes, representatives of the Ministry of Defense as well as lecturers and students.

Mrs. Greta presented us books, written by her son, as well as books written about him posthumously. And Ashot Navasardyans wife presented the book, written by the hero.
