REPORTS BY FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF RADIOPHYSICS
REPORTS BY FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF RADIOPHYSICS
A scientific conference devoted to actual problems of Radiophysics, was organized today.

This conference was organized by SSS of this faculty. 4 reports were presented. As SSS Chairman of this faculty Hasmik Shahinyan noticed, the fact that all reports were from the area of microelectronics and physics of semiconductors, - mere chance.

Head of Chair of Microelectronics and Physics of Semiconductors, Academician Vladimir Harutyunyan welcomed the initiative of students and urged them to be more active and consecutive. He especially focused on the circumstance that all presented reports covered extremely actual areas.

It will be quite good, if the following conference is held English. For scientists of our country the knowledge of foreign languages is necessary as the breath of life, - Vladimir Harutyunyan noticed.

For me it was more important, that I could present what I research. In this case the report theme is a minor one, - youngest of reporters, a sophomore Gayane Petrosyan said.

Very few students participated in this conference. Organizers are sure that the reason is not only the examination period: tradition of conference is not developed in our HEI and newly elected YSU SSS was formed only several months ago.

A student of this faculty, SSS member of this faculty Armen Durgaryan considers that it is senseless to expect active participation of younger courses at such conferences. Armen, however, is sure just by organizing 1-2 conferences in a year and posting on a wall of announcements it is impossible to achieve real results: for involving of senior students and masters time and serious consecutive work is necessary.

In cooperation YSU management -SSS-Studentship passive positions of students are already an everyday occurrence. SSS and YSU management, however, have no right to be passive, - Armen Durgaryan mentioned.
