NEW GUIDE AND MANUAL
On the 8th of June in the study of Geography of Armenia at the Faculty of Geography of YSU the presentation of the manual and methodological guide "The Climate Changes" was organized.

This was a joint activity by the above mentioned faculty and the project The Climate Changes of the Ministry of Ecology of RA.

This manual is foreseen for the students of Armenian IHE, and the methodological guide can be very useful one for the lecturers who hold the course of lectures on the climate changes.

The guide and manual include different aspects regarding the climate changes taking place in Armenia focusing on various processes and reasons. Here is published the first national report in the area of climate changes. 

Head of the Department of Surroundings Protection of the Ministry of Ecology Aram Gabriyelyan said that the second national report on the climate changes was ready and the text was distributed among the audience.

The coordinator of the project Climate Changes Convention in Armenia Aram Gabriyelyan said that one of the urgent missions of the convention is the training of specialists and the awareness of the society.

These publications can serve as an excellent example for the training of specialists and also to make aware the society of this topic. The author of these publications is the dean of the Faculty of Geography Ashot Khoyetsyan. He presented the structure of the books and said that he had focused on the availability of the information of the books. 

Mr. Khoyetsyan and Mr. Gabrielyan promised to take into consideration the opinions and proposals made by audience and if there is an opportunity to publish them as a separate appendix.

YSU RECTOR MET THE CHAIRMAN OF THE EURASIAN ECONOMIC COMMISSION COUNCIL DELEGATION HEADED BY M. V. MYASNIKOVICH
YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, along with Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA Karen Trchunyan, hosted the delegation headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. For his activity and significant contribution to increasing inter-university bonds, the rector handed a certificate of gratitude to Myasnikovich.
THE THREAT OF DESTRUCTION OF ARMENIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH
From 15 to 19 July 2022, a conference on "The Cultural Heritage of Artsakh" was held at the Yerevan State University and the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Vayots Dzor/Armenia. More than 30 international scholars and experts discussed the origin, historical development and current threats to cultural heritage in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). These are part of the Armenian culture and, thus, amongst the oldest heritage of Christianity.
