A WORKSHOP ON ROADMAP DEVELOPMENT AT HEIDELBERG UNIVERSITY
The development of roadmaps at partner Armenian universities was the major point to be discussed at the next workshop within the project.

The workshop was held at the University of Heidelberg from 3rd to 5th of November with the participation of Armenian and European consortium partners.


In order to come with the roadmap of further developments the lead partner first presented the analyses of results of questionnaire completed by the AM higher education institutions. Next, National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance foundation (ANQA) introduced the discussion results with partners institutions regarding the fact-finding conducted at each AM HEI. And third the institution working groups together with the EU partners discussed and outlined the major lines for roadmap development.

As a result, all the Armenian institutions were asked to development roadmaps by the beginning of March and as a next step a working group with involvement of Armenian and European colleagues was established to develop a joint Guidelines for the implementation of PhD. Finally the consortium agreed upon the upcoming activities and deadlines and the management team took responsibility to take care of project successful implementation.

YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY HOSTED STUDENTS FROM THE MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Within the framework of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) International Science and Technology Initiative (MISTI) Global Teaching Labs (GTL) program Yerevan State University (YSU) hosted three students back in January this year for the first time. MIT students Yu Jing Chen, Anne Snyder, and Sean Zhang taught three different subjects and held hands-on workshops for YSU students.
