The pupils were hosted by the head of the Chair of “Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry Armen Martiryan, the head of division of Affairs with Applicants Emin Santrosyan, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Chemistry Armen Galstyan.
The pupils of the 7th,8th and 9th forms of “Byurakn” school were introduced the faculty life, the laboratory equipment and were shown some scientific experiments. Such visits certainly boost increasing interest in chemistry among pupils.

Since the morning of December 12th, a group of Azerbaijani civilians disguised as environmentalists have imposed a blockade on the Goris-Stepanakert highway (the Lachin Corridor) which is currently the only route linking Nagorno-Karabakh to the outside world. On top of that, during bitterly cold winter Azerbaijan had shut off natural gas supplies leaving the civilians in the territory without heating for 75 hours.

According to the agreement approved today, the two universities will carry out exchange programs for professors, researchers and students, will exchange scientific, professional literature, periodicals and other materials, will organize joint research programs, conferences and other events.
