A COMMEMORATIVE COIN "100TH ANNIVERSARY OF YSU FOUNDATION" WILL BE PRODUCED
The Central Bank of Armenia announced a competition of coin sketches “The 100th Anniversary of YSU Foundation”.

In 2019 Yerevan State University will become 100 years old. Within the framework of the events dedicated to the centennial of YSU, the Central Bank of Armenia will issue coins “100th anniversary of YSU foundation”.

 

On the obverse of the coin sketch should be written in Armenian “The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”, “1000 drams” (face value of the coin) and year of issue – ‘2019”. There are no obligatory elements for the reverse of the coin.

 

The shape of the commemorative coin is round, the diameter is 40 mm. When developing sketches, color solutions can be used.

 

When holding a contest and selecting the best sketch, it is possible that the work of different authors will be used on the obverse and the reverse of the coin.

 

Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted before February 1, 2018. On February 6, all applications and sketches will be considered, and the results of the competition will be announced on February 13.

 

Anyone can take part in the competition.

 

The authors of the best works for each side of the coin (both obverse and reverse) will receive an award in the amount of 150 000 AMD.
