ARMENIAN MOUNTAINEER’S DAY HAS BEEN MARKED AT YSU
On October 9, the “Aparazh” mountaineering club of YSU and the Armenian Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism Federation organized an event dedicated to Armenian Mountaineer’s Day.

The vice-president of the Armenian Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism Federation Suren Danielyan, the coach of “Aparazh” club Suren Sepanyan, the chairman of the sport club of the Chair of Physical Education and Sport Henrik Tumanyan, students and guides were present at the event.

It should be noted that “Aparazh” mountaineering club of YSU has been providing trainings of rock climbing for two years.

54 students many of which are girls are involved in the trainings. Trainings are held twice a week.
