The ceremony was attended by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, Vice-rector on Academic Affairs Alexander Grigoryan, deans of faculties, representatives of the administration, Director of YSU Ihevan Branch Samvel Arakelyan, lecturers, as well as Bishop Bagrat Galstyan, the leader of Tavush Diocese and other guests.
Ceremony with prayer and blessing was opened by Bishop Bagrat Galstyan: “Dear graduates, I congratulate you. Correctly apply the knowledge that you received during this time. I wish you to find a job, according to your desires and profession, so that you can fulfill your mission in this life.”
Then graduates were congratulated by YSU Rector, Ijevan Branch Director and YSU Student Council Chairman.
“We have always appreciated and continue to appreciate the work done by Ijevan Branch. I am proud that the graduates of the branch enter into adulthood with solid level of knowledge. Dear graduates, YSU will always help you in life,” - Mr. Simonyan said.
Director of YSU Ijevan Branch Samvel Arakelyan emphasized that during 20 years of activity the branch has given much this town: “It was very difficult to provide high-quality education in Tavush region, but it seems to me that I managed to realize it. And today we are proud to look at our graduates. Obviously, with responsibility and pride we can say that the only branch of YSU is already an established center of education.”
After the ceremony, an exhibition of graduates of the Applied Arts Faculty and a Student Council concert was held.
Then the last session in this semester of the Academic Council of Ijevan Branch was held.
