MINISTER IS WITH "VARDANANK" CLUB
On the 6th of March RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan visited YSU Military-patriotic Club "Vardanank".

The event was initiated by the above mentioned club and supported by YSU Rector. Members of club, students, mothers of soldiers, perished in Artsakh Liberation War, their relatives were present at this meeting.

This was like a report of the activities of this club, which has got a background of 12 years. The upcoming goals and projects of the club were presented by the members to Mr. Ohanyan.

YSU Rector Aram Simonyan awarded certificates to the active members of the club and President of Vardanank Satenik Abrahamyan for their contribution in the area of development of military-patriotic traditions in YSU, as well as for their mission directed to the eternalizing of the names of our perished students soldiers in Artsakh Liberation War.

Mr. Minister welcomed the activities of the club and stated he expects more effective cooperation between Vardanank and Ministry of Defense from now on. The process will be organized and patronized by him.

When I analyze our passed way, I see that our people and country have not used sufficiently the peaceful times to get ready for coming threats and dangers, - said Mr. Minister and added that RA Government and Ministry of Defense do their best to use efficiently the years of independence.

In the end of the meeting a conversation between the Minister and audience began. The questions were many and various. Mr. Minister said that many such meetings are expected, as it is just the beginning of cooperation.

In the end YSU Rector presented Mr. Ohanyan on behalf of YSU studentship and staff canvas Spring by Nargiz Pashayan and one of the latest publications by YSU. In the end of this pre-holiday meeting Mr. Minister presented flowers and souvenirs to the children and women relatives of our perished soldiers.
