CHARGE D'AFFAIRES OF THE REPUBLIC OF IRAQ IN THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA DR. SUHAILAN M. KHALEEL AL-JOUBOURI VISITED YSU
Today the Chair of Arabic Studies of YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies hosted Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in the Republic of Armenia, Dr. Suhailan M. Khaleel Al-Joubouri and the Second Secretary, Dr. Saad Fadala Hamza al-Adda.

Head of the Chair of Arabic Studies Hayk Kocharyan greeted the guests and mentioned that the expansion of cooperation with Arab countries is a priority. "We are pleased to host the Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Iraq at the University, as our friendly relations with the Iraqi people have a long history."

The Head of the Chair of Arabic Studies added that it is planned to further deepen the cooperation with the Republic of Iraq, particularly in the research and academic platforms.

 

Dr. Suhailan M. Khaleel Al-Joubouri thanked for the invitation. "Armenians are an important part of our society, a reliable source for us. I have worked in more than 12 countries, but Armenia, particularly Yerevan, is a unique and favorite place to me. Our cultures are close, so everything Armenian is very close to our hearts. I ask God to protect your country and people".

 

Touching upon the issue of YSU diplomas validation in Iraq, he mentioned that the problem is technical.

During the meeting the guests also met with the Dean of the Faculty Ruben Melkonyan.
