Family members, including his daughter, granddaughter and nephew, Minister of Justice Davit Harutyunyan, her close friends, colleagues were present at the memorial event dedicated to the author of more than 100 articles, numerous monographs, textbooks, manuals, psychologist, teacher and writer Elda Green.
Dean of YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology Alexan Baghdasaryan stated that Elda Green had a quite saturated life: “She has not lost a single day or a minute. She was always filled with love. Elda Green is one of the most interesting individuals of our culture and history.”
“There are people who leave this world but their influence is still very long. Elda was one of those people. From bright people like she, we have to learn how to live. The greatest lesson that Elda has given to each of us is to be an individual,” - said Davit Harutyunyan.
Ruben Aghuzumtsyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of General Psychology, said that Elda Grin used to do everything with pleasure: “The most important thing is that Elda was not only a talented scientist but also a unique woman. She kept infinite femininity at the end of her life and did not lose her beauty.”
Referring to the monograph, Head of the General Psychology Chair Hrant Avanesyan stated that in the book the author touched upon the difference in symptoms of pathological and physiological effects, accumulation of emotional tension, analysis of the practice of modern psychological expertise and other interesting issues.
“We have few professional high quality books in Armenian. All the works of Elda Grin are in this series. This book is a continuation of her rich heritage that is of great value in the field of judicial psychology,” - mentioned Hrant Avanesyan.
During the memorial evening, colleagues and students shared their memories of the scientist, and her granddaughter performed music.
