Students, representatives of the teaching staff of different faculties of YSU and the representatives of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Yerevan, as well as guests from Russia were present at the event.
During the event the students presented the life and activity, love, political oppressions and death of the great writer.
The students also staged an episode from “Yevgeny Onegin” to show that the works created by Pushkin are still up-to-date.
At the end of the event the Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology Pavel Balayan thanked the participants and the organizers particularly Yulia Khojoyan.
The representative of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Yerevan Olga Likova also congratulated those present and expressed hope that such events will be organized more frequently.
