FACULTIES SUMMARIZED THE PREVIOUS ACADEMIC YEAR
FACULTIES SUMMARIZED THE PREVIOUS ACADEMIC YEAR
As every year, this year also, all the faculties held final sessions of the Academic Council, during which deans made their reports.

Each faculty first held discussions inside the chairs, evaluating the work of the chair, and then the Deans presented the activities of the faculty.

The deans of the faculties presented some general information about the previous academic year, touched upon the educational and scientific activities, noting not only the achievements, but also the omissions.

Members of the Faculty Academic Council also assessed the works of the dean and the faculty, made concrete suggestions and raised issues faced by the faculty or chairs.

YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, Vice-rector on Academic Affairs Alexander Grigoryan, Vice-Rector on Scientific Policy and International Cooperation Gegham Gevorgyan participated in the sessions. The latter touched upon the general assessment of the faculties’ activities and the issues voiced by the professorial staff and students, as well as the questions of the members of the Academic Council.

It should be noted that the reports made by the deans at the sessions of the Academic Council of all faculties were evaluated as satisfactory.

It should also be noted that after the final sessions the results of the discussions and the proposed proposals are discussed by YSU administration.
