FRENCH FILMS TO BE SHOWN AT YSU
FRENCH FILMS TO BE SHOWN AT YSU
YSU Cultural Center restarts the traditional screening of films within the framework of cooperation with the National Cinema Center of Armenia.

This time French short films and cartoons were shown and guests of the event were French-speaking students.

Since 2012, the French National Cinema Center celebrates the Day of Short Films, which Armenia has joined. Director of the Cultural Center Karine Davtyan noted that such films will be periodically shown and students will have the opportunity to watch the best films produced during the last years and which have participated in international festivals.

French short films and cartoons were presented by Nune Galstyan, responsible for Francophonie events of the Armenian National Cinema Center. Six short films were shown, of which two were cartoons. The films were about various problems of modern French society. The latter were featured in complex filmmaking solutions, one of which was the famous Peleshian spatial montage.

Such films are a great opportunity for students to get acquainted with the diversity of French cinema, colors and innovative ideas.
