 “GENOCIDE STUDIES” MASTER’S PROGRAM HAS BEEN PRESENED TO STUDENTS
On the initiative of the Student Scientific Society the four-year students were presented the possibilities and perspectives of the “Genocide Studies” Master’s program.

The event was held at the session hall of YSU Academic Council. The deputy director of the Institute for Armenian Studies of YSU Mher Hovhannisyan spoke about the goals of the program suggested by the IAS.

Via the website and video clips he presented the subjects to be taught within the program, the practical activities, the results achieved and to be expected. “This year we have had noticeable results-5 postgraduates and alumni carrying out scientific and research actcivity at IAS.

The Genocide Studies is a new, developing frield and it requires a number of employees”, said Mher Hovhannisyan and added that the administration of YSU pays a lot of attention and shows essential assistance to the field.

The Genocide Studies Master’s program is the only platform in Armenia which suggests studies of different subjects to be taught by best specialists of the sphere, specialized practice with Armenian and foreign experts, outdoor specialized meetings, post-graduate education, experience in research work in the study rooms saturated with speciliazed literature and equipment.
