The event was organized by the Faculty of International Relations of YSU, the “Integration and Development” research and analytical NGO and the Eurasian expert club.
The Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of YSU Gegham Petrosyan, Deputy Dean Arthur Israelyan, the assistant of the faculty, chairman of “Integration and Development” NGO, the coordinator of the Eurasian Expert Club Aram Safaryan, lecturers and students were present at the event.
Before starting the report Gohar Barseghyan informed that the goal of the series of meetings organized within the frames of the EEU 5th anniversary is to make the citizens of member countries aware of the EEU problems and upcoming projects.
During her speech Gohar Barseghyan spoke about the history of creation of the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia’s entry to it and its position as a presiding country.
She informed about the international cooperation, its establishment and expansion as well as told about their vision of plans for upcoming ten years.
At the end of the speech the students had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers. They thanked the organizers for the event.
