STUDENTS LEARN TO CONTROL EMOTIONS
The two-day seminar “Application of the EQ and creativity in the working process as a means of self-control” was opened at YSU today.

The seminar was organized within the framework of the cooperation between YSU Alumni and Career Centre and Innovative Center on Scientific-Practical Complex Studies “GOY”.

 

Representative of “Goy” Susanna Avetisyan said on the first day of the seminar students will be introduced to the theoretical part of the course, the practical presentation of the theoretical part will be on May 5: “Students will be able to apply immediately what they have understood and participate in various games and get as many practical knowledge as possible.”

At the beginning of the meeting Susanna Avetisyan said that in all aspects of life critical situations and stress are inevitable, therefore, it is very important to be skilled in the self-regulation, which could be supported by the application of the emotional intelligence and creativity.

 

“Emotional intelligence is an ability that must be developed. Its main factors are self-consciousness, self-management and self-regulation, social self-consciousness of “I” and social relations management,” - said Susanna Avetisyan.

 

According to her, creativity is a type of thinking: “It is creative abilities, which are characterized by the creation of new ideas and willingness to give up traditional thinking. It is a creative dimension that is special to everyone at birth, but the majority fails to develop it because of various environmental impacts.”

 

To achieve high efficiency speaker advised students to write down clear goals, to make a permanent record of the results of the activities, control time, as well as complete the work in free time and always have time to rest.
