YSU TEAM OF LAWYERS WON
The third court-game contest on the International Humanitarian Law was held from the 20th to 23rd of February in Tsaghkadzor. The participants were the representatives of law faculties from different institutions of higher education of Armenia. The team of YSU Faculty of Law presented 2 teams.

The participants had to solve situational questions on the problems of the International Humanitarian Law. The teams had to show the jury their positions before the deadline. And during the team discussions at the round table the participants and the members of jury talked on the problems of the International Humanitarian Law.

The teams of the Faculty of Law of YSU and Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University proceeded into final. Here the contest was held on the principal of judicial procedure. Team of the Faculty of Law of YSU won the contest. The team of winners was awarded with the cup of honor. This cup will be kept at the Faculty of Law of YSU until the next contest starts.

"VISUAL COMPUTING" MASTER'S PROGRAM IS IMPLEMENTED IN YSU TOGETHER WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ROSTOCK, GERMANY
In 2010, the first time in Armenia a joint double degree MS Program “Visual Computing” developed by the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering of the University of Rostock, Germany and the Information Technologies Educational and Research Center of YSU has been launched. YSU SCIENTISTS MANUFACTURE A NANOSTRUCTURED SENSOR DETECTING LOW CONCENTRATIONS OF HYDROGEN
The Science Committee of MօESCS (Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports) RA (Republic of Armenia) has guaranteed funding for the scientific topic of "Preparation of a nanostructured sensor detecting low concentrations of hydrogen". We talked about the project with Mikael Aleksanyan, associate professor, head of YSU center of semiconductor devices and nanotechnologies.
