MEDICAL AID SKILLS FOR STUDENTS
MEDICAL AID SKILLS FOR STUDENTS
On April 11-15 courses on medical aid skills were held for YSU students.

The initiative belonged to YSU Military Readiness Club, having goal to provide participants with both theoretical and practical skills.

“This idea originated during the violation of the ceasefire on the contact line between NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces. When we started to recruit volunteers, many girls expressed desire to contribute to the protection of our homeland. So, we decided to organize such training,” – said the representative of YSU Student Affairs Centre Lusine Hambaryan.

The training was supported by the RA Ministry of Emergency States. The latter provided our side with specialists and all the necessary equipment.

Today, the training was conducted by the expert Anna Barseghyan. She noted that the medical aid consists of 3 stages: pre-medical aid, first medical aid and medical aid. Everybody should be aware of the pre-medical aid.

Anna Barseghyan presented the types and ways of stopping the bleeding. Students received not only theoretical knowledge, but also tried to apply their knowledge on practice.

Lusine Hambaryan also said that more than 200 students had expressed desire to participate in the training and groups, composed of 20 students were composed.
