SCHOOLCHILDREN VISITED THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT
Today, about 100 pupils from more than 5 high schools of Yerevan visited YSU Faculty of Economics and Management.

Within the framework of Open Days program of YSU Pre-University Education Department, pupils were received by the Dean and heads of chairs of the above mentioned faculty.

 

The purpose of the event was to help children to choose the right profession, to provide them with information about the Faculty of Economics and Management and the educational process.

 

Dean of the Faculty Hayk Sargsyan touched upon the history of the faculty and the educational programs.

 

Hayk Mnatsakanyan, Head of the Chair of Finance and Accounting, mentioned that YSU has agreements on cooperation with more than 150 foreign universities, which enables to continue education abroad after the graduation.

 

 

Heads of chairs also spoke about the advantages of the faculty, emphasizing the possibilities of practical education given to students.

VAHRAM DUMANYAN WAS RE-ELECTED DEAN OF YSU FACULTY OF INFORMATICS AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS
Vahram Dumanyan, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, was re-elected as Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics with 21 votes at the session of Academic Council of YSU Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics. Let us note that the election was held on May 11 and was attended by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan.

The delegation of the Institute for Armenian Studies of YSU was on a working visit to Beirut, Lebanon, on April 21-28.
