“THE CHANGE IN UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LEGISLATION”: YSU RECTOR
YSU Rector Aram Simonyan gives an interview to 24TV news website.

In his interview to 24TV Aram Simonyan didn't deny that there are certain defects in the establishment and stressed that the process of elimination the defects must be uninterrupted.

“I have been Rector for 12 years but I don’t cling to my position. I am professor, a lecturer, I have the possibility to carry on my activity here as lecturer”, he said. YSU Rector gives a positive assessment to “Restart” initiative.

The Rector also stresses that he is open for cooperation. “If their activity has negative impact they must leave but if their activity is aimed at the improvement of the sphere of education, its quality increase then they must implement their rights”, said Aram Simonyan.

The Rector also announced that being a member of the party he had never used his party affiliation inside the university, on the contrary, there were many cases when he didn’t let develop political activity within the walls of the university.
