A PERFORMANCE BY YSU REPRESENTATIVES
YSU Cultural Centre staged Shakespeare’s play “Romeo and Juliet” within the framework of “Art Fest”.

“Art Fest” International Youth Festival is to promote an open atmosphere of creativity among young artists, forming a framework for cooperation, exchange of experience and improvement of professional skills of young artists, the discovery of new names, etc.


The performance by Studio-Theater “Universitarian” was on May 25 at Dramatic Theatre after Hr. Ghaplanyan. The producer was the director of the Cultural Centre Karine Davtyan, stage designer Anna Harutyunyan, and the musical producer - Edgar Gyanjumyan.




The performance was musical full of modern interpretations. According to Karine Davtyan, students of theater-studio have already achieved considerable success.


Karine Davtyan said: “People seem to forget about love in our everyday routine. I believe that love will save the world.”


The festival’s awards ceremony will take place on June 12 at the National Center for Chamber Music.
