The goal is to enable students to acquire new skills and abilities applying non-formal education methods.
As noted by the founder of this school, Chairman of the Commission on Monitoring and Development of YSU Student Council Khachik Abajyan, the initiative also has the tendency to train human resources for future: “We have taken into account the interest of students towards all our activities and initiatives, and being a student structure, we responded to their needs and decided to launch such a program.”
Chairman of YSU Student Council Armen Khachikyan, welcoming this initiative, wished success and progress, adding that the school’s opening day symbolically coincided with the date of foundation of the Student Council.
10 subjects will be taught at this school. Classes will be held from April 17 to June 23, 3 times a week, (in 1st and 2nd turns). Khachik Abajyan noted that the schedule of the training will be designed taking into consideration the educational process of the participants.
School participants were selected in advance, according to the online questionnaire consisting of the completed application form and a general IQ test results. Those who had maximum score were selected (from more than 80 students).
Chairman of the Commission on Monitoring and Development of YSU Student Council Khachik Abajyan also stated that the participants will be awarded certificates at the end of the classes. The organizers will also provide them with interesting and useful leisure time.
