ON THE EVE OF SAINT EASTER
ON THE EVE OF SAINT EASTER
On the 6th of April, on the eve of Saint Easter, Priest Ghevond Mayilyan was the guest of YSU students.

During the meeting the priest told about the Saint Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ-the symbol of Easter Feast.

The week, preceding the Feast of Easter, Great Week, is like the week for creativity, but if the week, when the world was created, was the week for the creation of material values, the days of Great Week are called to create the spiritual. During these days the man must be recreated, - explained Priest Ghevond Mayilyan.

Every year on the 7th of April The Armenian Church celebrates the Day of Our Lady Mariam. Priest Mayilyan also told the students about the history and symbol of this feast.

The meeting was organized by the Temporary Commission on the Development of Spiritual Culture of YSU Student Council.

In the end of the meeting students were provided with the opportunity to ask our guest the questions they were interested in. During the dialogue, which lasted for about two hours, various topics were discussed. None of those referred to the above mentioned topic.

The analogous situation had occurred during the previous meeting with Priest Ghevond Mayilyan. I guess this all states about that students have got a lack of communication with the spiritual, - said Vladimir Poghosyan, head of the Temporary Commission on the Development of Spiritual Culture of YSU Student Council.

Vladimir informed us about the upcoming meeting of YSU students with the spiritual leader for Armenian IHE Deacon Varazdat.
