SEMINAR ON PHD AWARD CRITERIA AND QA STANDARDS
SEMINAR ON PHD AWARD CRITERIA AND QA STANDARDS
WP3 – «PhD Award Criteria and QA Standards» launched at Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences (YSULS) on 26-27th of January 2015 with the participation of VERITAS consortium at the seminar on PhD award criteria and QA standards.

The methodology chosen for the seminar was in the form of World Cafe when the consortium partners (Armenian and European) were grouped to discuss the current standards accepted and adopted at Armenian and European universities and preparing proposals for the new ones on the one hand, and to bring forward new approaches and proposals for the development of quality standards for PhD education at AM HEIs on the other hand. Comments and suggestions were gathered and will be taken into account while developing the documents within WP3.

The management team presented the activities carried out within the project (a new newsletter including the summary of previous year will be uploaded and disseminated). Major activities and events planned for 2015 were also presented and the list of deadlines will be soon provided to the consortium.
