Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology Diana Gazarova noted that such interdepartmental events are of the annual nature: “We choose a theme for the discussion. This time we decided to focus on Sergei Dovlatov and examine journalistic and philological aspects of his works.”

Then Deputy Dean and lecturer Lusine Harutyunyan told students about writer’s biography, works and interesting facts.

Students watched a documentary film about Dovlatov, after which they expressed their opinions about his creative legacy as a writer and journalist.
