“STUDENT MILITARY CAMPING-2016” KICKS OFF
“STUDENT MILITARY CAMPING-2016” KICKS OFF
The traditional “Student Military Camping” will be held on July 12-18 in the village Togh of Hadrut region.

The initiative belongs to YSU Student Affairs Centre with the support of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and it is funded by the Youth Foundation of Armenia. The project aims to contribute to improving the state of combat readiness of students, development of military-political knowledge, as well as strengthening of the army-society ties.

The participants represent not only YSU, but also Artsakh and Javakhk. They will organize intellectual, athletic and cultural competitions, lectures and other events. They are divided into 9 units.

Lectures, seminars will cover the developments in the entire region with a focus on the political, ethnic and socio-economic situation and prospects of relations.

Meetings with commanders, soldiers and military experts of the NKR Defense Army, as well as veterans of the Artsakh Liberation War will be held. Pilgrimages to shrines of Artsakh are also planned.
