This time, students visited the Berd Culture House, met there with the children from the socially vulnerable families of the border residential areas included in the program of the Assistance Fund of Armenia “Poverty Prevention in Tavush Region”.
The visit was organized for the third time by the Student Council and the Debate Club of the Faculty of International Relations of YSU within the framework of the program “Help Dreams Come True”, launched in 2013 and held annually.
“The purpose of our visit is to provide moral support. We consider this assistance to be much more important than material aid, and we want to show that university students are always ready to help their younger friends,” - said Nver Kirakosyan, chairperson of the Student Council and the Debate Club of YSU Faculty of International Relations.
Members of the Student Council divided children into teams and held intellectual and sports games with them. During the event, a sincere smile did not pass from the faces of the children, which, according to the members of the Student Council, is the best indicator of the successful work. Before saying goodbye, university students took photos with the children and performed with them dances.
