YSU IS CELEBRATING  TODAY TYARNARADACH
On the initiative of YSU Student Council today an event was held in front of the Black Building and then the Central Building dedicated to Trndez.

Trndez is a feast of purification in the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Head of the Student Council of the Faculty of Radiophysics  Narek Margaryan welcoming the students noted that their faculty has decided to celebrate one of the Armenian Church feast holidays for the first time this year.

 

The Armenian Apostolic Church priest, Father Arnak Harutyunyan, was invited to bless  tհe presents.

“The organization of this celebration is commendable, as each of you once again has the opportunity to reflect on your Christian image. I wish that each of you would know Christ and accept his presence in his/her  life, "said the priest.

 

After explaining the symbol of the feast, the attendees together uttered the Lord's Prayer, after which the students danced around the fire and then jumped over the fire.

AN ANNUAL COMPETITION IS HELD FOR THE YSU LECTURERS "TEACHING EXCELLENCE AWARD AT YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY".
A competition has been announced at YSU to improve teaching methods as well as to disseminate best practices.
