UNIVERSITARIANS VISITED ARARAT STATE COLLEGE
Today, at the initiative of YSU Pre-University Education Department and Faculty of History, a lecture-discussion took place at Ararat State College within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia and May battles.

Lecturer of the Chair of Armenian History at YSU Faculty of History Tigran Ghanalanyan and Melik Melkonyan, Ani Hakobyan, Siranush Bagumyan and Lyudmila Grigoryan delivered lectures on the history of the First Republic of Armenia.


The lectures were accompanied by questions and discussions, through which students were able to get a more complete picture of the 1918 events - the situation created in the region, the preamble of the proclamation of the Republic of Armenia.


The importance of the establishment of the First Republic of Armenia in the modern Armenian history was highlighted.

VAHRAM DUMANYAN WAS RE-ELECTED DEAN OF YSU FACULTY OF INFORMATICS AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS
Vahram Dumanyan, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, was re-elected as Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics with 21 votes at the session of Academic Council of YSU Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics. Let us note that the election was held on May 11 and was attended by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan.
