GOLD MEDAL FOR HONORED PROFESSOR
Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Frunz Ghazaryan was awarded YSU Gold Medal.

On July 21, YSU Rector Aram Simonyan awarded Mr. Ghazaryan, Advisor to the Rector of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, for his significant contribution to the development of higher education in the field of physical education and sport, training young professionals YSU Gold Medal on his jubilee anniversary.


The professor has been working at the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports since 1960 as a lecturer, and then as a head of the chair, vice-rector on scientific and educational affairs, rector’s advisor.


He is one of the leading experts in the field of physical education and sports pedagogy in Armenia, CIS and abroad.


Frunz Ghazaryan is the founder of the scientific direction of the problem of human perfection in Armenia and former Soviet Union. This methodology of physical perfection, which has been developed decades ago, is constantly being applied today in sports pedagogy, the theory of physical education, and a number of adjacent scientific works.


He has published 280 scientific works, including 9 monographs, 8 textbooks, 6 programs, 43 methodological manuals and numerous scientific articles.
