NEW PROGRAM WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CULTURE
YSU Start-Up Challenge Summer-2017 project kicked off on July 19.

YSU Entrepreneurship Development Centre and the IBM Innovation Solutions and Technologies Centre are committed to promoting the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and helping students to make their ideas and projects call to life.

 

YSU Vice-rector on Students, Alumni and Public Relations Ruben Markosyan said in his speech that the program is very important and promising: ''We attach great importance to the development of innovative ideas for our students, post-graduate students and young scientists, so we opened the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development which should have partners. We are very pleased that we cooperate with the IBM Innovation Solutions and Technology Centre and we are implementing such a joint project."

 

According to Areg Gevorgyan, IBM Innovation Solutions and Technology Business Development Manager, during a 6-week program, participants will meet with different businessmen, participate in thematic workshops and try to call to life their ideas.

 

 

During the event Areg Gevorgyan presented the participants the basics and development history of entrepreneurship.

 

It should be noted that the best two teams will be given an opportunity to be involved in the ISTC acceleration program, attend internships and get other prizes.
