YSU STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM
On April 6-12 YSU students participated in the International Youth Forum “Lomonosov 2014”.

The conference for students, postgraduates and young scientists was held for the 21st time at Moscow Lomonosov University.

YSU was represented 8 eight students: YSU SSS Chairman Mikayel Malkhasyan, Deputy Chairman of YSU Student Council Vardan Ghaplanyan, Lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations Tsolak Akopyan, PhD student at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies Naira Poghosyan, master students at the Faculty of Biology Ruzanna Matevosyan and Nelly Grigoryan, student at the Faculty of History Albert Barseghyan and master student at the Centre for European Studies Leyli Alexanyan.

According to YSU SSS Chairman Mikayel Malkhasyan two more students of YSU had received the invitation for the participation, but due to the lack of financial means they were unable to travel to Moscow.

“Two years ago, YSU SSS and MSU Student Union signed an agreement on cooperation, the results of which we see today. Here the active participation and support of YSU Division on Student Affairs should be highlighted. The issues related to the participation of our side at this annual forum are being then solved,” – said Mikayel Malkhasyan.

Mikayel Malkhasyan and Vartan Ghaplanyan have participated in the Summit of Young Leaders of the CIS countries, held in the framework of the forum.
