YSU STUDENTS WINNERS OF "ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AWARD FOR THE BEST STUDENTS IN THE FIELD OF IT" AWARD
YSU student Garik Petrosyan was recognized the winner in the main nomination.

The solemn awarding ceremony of 30 winning students of the "Annual Educational Award for the best students in the field of IT"  took place on November 16 at the Armenia Marriott Hotel in Yerevan.

 

YSU students were recognized as winners in the following nominations: main prize: Garik Petrosyan, "Best Postgraduate" 1st place - Aram Gharibyan, "Best Postgraduate" 2nd place - Babken Hovhannisyan, "Best Master's student" 1st place - Vahagn Altunyan, "Best Master's student" 2nd place Narek Avagyan, "Best Bachelor" 1st place - Mher Khachatryan, "Best Bachelor" 2nd place - Hrachya Asatryan.

"The annual educational award for the best students in the field of IT" is one of the unique programs implemented by the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund in various dimensions, through which the foundation contributes to the discovery of the potential of the Armenian youth and the development of the field. "Today, cooperation between private, state and public institutions is more than needed, aimed at uniting efforts aimed at strengthening the country's economy," said Haykak Arshamyan, Executive Director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.

 

It should be reminded that the awards are given to those students who have high marks, participate in various Olympiads and competitions in the field of IT and natural sciences, are the authors of scientific articles, as well as are active in community programs.

YSU RECTOR MET THE CHAIRMAN OF THE EURASIAN ECONOMIC COMMISSION COUNCIL DELEGATION HEADED BY M. V. MYASNIKOVICH
YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, along with Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA Karen Trchunyan, hosted the delegation headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. THE THREAT OF DESTRUCTION OF ARMENIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH
From 15 to 19 July 2022, a conference on "The Cultural Heritage of Artsakh" was held at the Yerevan State University and the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Vayots Dzor/Armenia. More than 30 international scholars and experts discussed the origin, historical development and current threats to cultural heritage in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). These are part of the Armenian culture and, thus, amongst the oldest heritage of Christianity.
