CLASSROOM NAMED AFTER GEVORG ARSHAKYAN, ARTAK STEPANYAN AND HENRIK SOGHOMONYAN OPENED AT THE FACULTY OF SOCIOLOGY
The opening ceremony of the classroom dedicated to the memory of the students who died in the 44-day Artsakh war took place at YSU Faculty of Sociology today.

Students of the Faculty of Sociology Gevorg Arshakyan, Artak Stepanyan and Henrik Soghomonyan were present at the opening ceremony.

 

 

YSU Acting Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Dean of the Faculty Arthur Mkrtichyan, parents, relatives and friends of the heroes were present.

After the opening ceremony, the participants of the event already watched a video about the heroes, the classmates recalled the stories about them.

 

 

"Events dedicated to the memory of fallen university students are often organized, because according to the university's approach, every student and lecturer is a value.
We will always remember them and we must educate our future generations in the same spirit", said the acting ractor.
