Hrant Avanesyan, Head of the Chair of General Psychology, made an opening speech at the beginning of the conference. Welcoming the participants, he attached special importance of the visit of international participants to Armenia in such difficult, epidemic conditions.
He thanked the participants of the international conference from 11 countries.
Basco L. from University of Avignon also made a speech. He welcomed the idea of an international conference, thanked the chair for organizing the conference and wished the participants effective work.
Takօoshian H. from Fordham University and Kalajian A. from Columbia University contacted the participants through Zoom.
Welcoming the participants of the international conference, they also highlighted the results of the international conference, the joint programs implemented and expressed hope that the cooperation between the participants would continue.
Srbuhi Gevorgyan, Vice-Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Abovyan, greeted the conference organizers and participants wished that the issues that are being discussed during the international conference will definitely find their answers and solutions.
Vice-rector of Artsakh State University Vitya Yaramishyan also greeted the conference participants, emphasizing that all the attention and support of Armenian psychologists during and after the war were focused on all the issues related to Artsakh.
After the opening ceremony, the conference participants made presentations on the peculiarities and problems of the psychological health of Armenian and Russian students, the study of children's traumatic memories, as well as the psychological problems of the Armenian society in the post-war period.
