YSU THROUGH BRUSH AND OBJECTIVE
YSU THROUGH BRUSH AND OBJECTIVE
University students were united by art and love to Alma Mater today.

The works were presented by YSU students in the Hall of Cultural Center. In the event, organized by the initiative of the Director of the Center Karine Davtyan and Chairman of Association of Young Artists of the RA Union of Artists Anna Harutyunyan, students and graduates of faculties of Geography and Geology, Informatics and Applied Mathematics, Philosophy and Psychology, Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics, Russian Philology, Journalism, Economics and Theology participated.

By means of painting first of all I wished to learn something about myself and so I give possibility to everybody to find myself in my pictures, - an economist sophomore economic Anahit Kechechyan said.

All exposed photos, pictures, abstract and graphic images directly or indirectly are connected with our University. And in spite of the fact that the exhibition was devoted to the 90th anniversary of Alma Mater foundation, nevertheless this circumstance had not limited students in their actions. Each of them had presented in own way his or her inner world, the part of which is YSU, too.

It is remarkable that such exhibitions are traditional here. I am glad that our youth appreciates the role and power of art, - said Karine Davtyan.

The exhibition was some kind of a competition, too, as a specialist of art Gevorg Mshetsi and photographer Erem Sarkisyan were invited for estimation of pictures quality and diploma awarding.

It will be very difficult to choose only two as all works are perfect in their own way. I must approach to the issue only as a professional and somehow subjectively to define the winners. However I will repeat that children are original enough and courageous, - said Gevorg Mshetsi.

In a category of pictures 1st award winner was Anahit Kechechyan, and the runner-up was a future specialist of Theology Lusine Gabrielyan. In a category of photos 1st award winner was a geologist Tigran Lorasabyan, and the second prize was given to the student of Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics Narine Manasyan.
