As a result of the "Ph.D. students and young applicants resea՝rch support program-2022" competition, funding was guaranteed for the scientific topic "Characterization of the physiological and bioenergetic indicators of Thermus Scotoductus K1 in anoxic and oxygenated conditions", the author of which is the Ph.D. student of the Faculty of Biology of YSU Hripsime Petrosyan.

Professor Valentin Nenaidenko, Head of the Department of Organic Chemistry of Moscow State University, gave a lecture on "Dichlorodiazadienes as universal building blocks for heterocycles" at YSU Chemistry Faculty.

The scientific conference "Blasphemy and apostasy" Discourses, narratives, and practices" was organized within the framework of cooperation between Yerevan State University and Saint Petersburg European University.

Eduard Zohrabyan, Head of the Chair of the History of Armenia's Neighboring Countries of the Faculty of History of YSU, Head of the "Caucasus Studies" program, Ph.D., Associate Professor Eduard Zohrabyan attended the "Quantum" college to give a lecture and an introductory speech on the structure, history, programs and features of the specialty "Caucasus Studies".

At the initiative of the Chair of Armenian Language of YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology, prominent linguists of the republic from various scientific and educational institutions present their research at the conference on "Issues of Modern Armenian Grammar".

YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, along with Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA Karen Trchunyan, hosted the delegation headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. For his activity and significant contribution to increasing inter-university bonds, the rector handed a certificate of gratitude to Myasnikovich.

Reforms are continuously carried out in different faculties of Yerevan State University to improve the quality of education, strengthen students' practical skills, carry out international scientific activities, and many other directions. The Faculty of Radiophysics of YSU is also a part of the process.

YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication organized an event on "Armenian youth and the Italian language", during which students read works of modern Italian poets, and performed theatrical performances and musicals

Within the framework of cooperation with the Chair of German Philology of YSU, the auditorium 507 of the Faculty of European Languages and Communication of YSU was renovated and equipped with the latest technology with the financial support of the "Majorel Armenia" international organization.

The YSU Alumni and Career Center organized courses and two-day educational visits firstly for the YSU Ijevan branch and then for other YSU students. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint the students with the opportunities available in the labor market and to transfer new knowledge and skills through the courses.
