The traditional project, organized by Expo Service, this year was launched on the 21st of March in the Building of Government and will continue till the 23rd of March. Minister of Education and Science of the RA Levon Mkrtchyan thinks that such kinds of events have not only propagating essence, but also are of great importance in the area of the universitarian culture and the development of the collaboration.
It is owing to such initiatives, which have a rich background, that we can participate in the international exhibitions of the sort with great confidence, - said Levon Mkrtchyan.
Each day round tables on the problems in the area of education are expected. The topic Problems of the Level of Education was on the agenda of the first day.
Despite the fact that YSU is the leader in the sphere of providing higher education of high quality, I guess that the participation in such kinds of exhibitions is very useful. It is an excellent opportunity to present our achievements and to share our experience with others, - said YSU Rector Aram Simonyan.
Since the morning of December 12th, a group of Azerbaijani civilians disguised as environmentalists have imposed a blockade on the Goris-Stepanakert highway (the Lachin Corridor) which is currently the only route linking Nagorno-Karabakh to the outside world. On top of that, during bitterly cold winter Azerbaijan had shut off natural gas supplies leaving the civilians in the territory without heating for 75 hours.
A meeting with Armenian composer, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Mansuryan took place at YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center, during which university rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented the maestro with YSU gold medal.
