Karine Davtyan, director of the YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center, emphasized the importance of the university students getting to know the outstanding individuals of the Armenian nation, which is what such meetings are aimed at.
Artsvi Bakhchinyan presented Ruben Mamulyan's life in detail, and then advised the audience to read his book "Ruben Mamulyan. The artist and the Armenian" book is dedicated to the life and work of Ruben Mamulyan, a famous director, well-known for his innovations in world cinema, world-renowned for his classic works, and highly praised director. According to the author, reading the book will provide an opportunity to get to know R Mamulyan better both as a film director and as an Armenian.
In the conversation with us, A. Bakhchinyan detailed that throughout his life he was interested in the contribution of Armenian figures in foreign cultures. Now he is trying to do everything for the youth to appreciate, revalue and recognize the grateful people of the nation not only by name but also by deed.
It should be noted that the inter-university meeting, which was attended by the students of Yerevan State University, State Institute of Cinema and Theater, and Armenian-Russian University, was organized by the joint efforts of the YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center and the National Cinema Center of Armenia.
Similar meetings are held within the framework of the YSU Film Club, with the aim of contributing to the formation of students' high taste, as well as getting to know their views and recommendations on the field of cinema.
