JOINT EXAMINATION SYSTEM LAUNCH
JOINT EXAMINATION SYSTEM LAUNCH
In 2007 entrants took the final school and first joint examination in YSU, too.

On the 1st of June in YSU final state and joint examination on the subject Armenian language, literature was taken by 300 entrants, who are the residents of community Center of Yerevan.

The instructors explained in details the examination order and how to complete the tests, the numbers of the entrants were decided by drawing and the tests were distributed according to the established order.

The duration of the examination was 3 hours. The entrant can make the Xerox copy of his or her variant in the end of exam. The examination process was being observed by the observers and parents via video cameras.

Special computer program will check and estimate the tests and each mark will be known with the help of special number fixed on the test. According to YSU Rector Aram Simonyan this method is a positive one, but he does not consider it to be effective for the creative work checking.

YSU center supervisor Sasun Melikyan informed us that there are not any problems connected with the process of examinations, the only thing for concern are the organizational activities, as this system is launched for the first time, but we have got to mention that the probation was satisfactory.

YSU examination hall was visited by Prime-minister Serzh Sargsyan. Having looked through some of the tasks of the test the prime-minister said with confidence: Even if the knowledge of the entrant is not satisfactory in the field of Armenian language and literature, anyway, he can expect positive results.

The press secretary of the estimation and test center Gayane Manoukyan informed us that the entrants who did not take the exams for valid reasons will be provided with one more opportunity and will take this examination according to the above mentioned order.
